A natural Ceylon sapphire of vivid purple. The 5.189 ct oval has stable colour and strong fluorescence.
This stone has been heated. Bellerophon Gemlab records indications of heating and notes no other treatment. Heating is the long-established, permanent treatment used on most sapphire; we state it plainly so that the price reflects it.
Mined at Téja's own pit at Horaketiya, Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, and cut in Sri Lanka.
Bellerophon Gemlab, Paris, has identified it as a natural sapphire of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) provenance in vivid purple, with indications of heating, report no. C01287, dated 16 December 2025, and notes that it may be called "Lavender" in the trade. The report, with a 360° video and 3D scan, can be verified at bellerophongemlab.com.
A deep purple of real size for a ring or pendant; it sits well against rose gold. Available to view in Colombo by appointment. Further images and video on request via WhatsApp.
