A natural spinel from Mahenge, Tanzania, in vivid pink. Mahenge is the source that redefined spinel in the last two decades, and its best stones carry the saturated, glowing pink seen here. The strong fluorescence the lab records adds to that glow in daylight.
The 2.518 ct oval is evenly coloured and transparent, and shows no indications of treatment. Bellerophon notes that it may be called "Vibrant" for its well-judged cutting proportions.
Part of the Téja World Stones collection: gems from outside Sri Lanka, chosen for colour and documented with the same care as our Ceylon stones.
Bellerophon Gemlab, Paris, has identified it as a natural spinel of Tanzanian (Mahenge) provenance in vivid pink, report no. C02947, dated 8 October 2026. The report, with a 360° video, can be verified at bellerophongemlab.com.
