A natural alexandrite of Ceylon provenance, faceted as a pear and weighing 3.384 ct. Bellerophon Gemlab records a colour change from yellowish green to brownish pink, with even distribution and stable colour. It is transparent, shows no fluorescence and shows no indications of treatment.
The colour change is what defines alexandrite: the stone reads yellowish green in daylight and moves to brownish pink under incandescent light. The lab photograph shows both states side by side.
Mined at Téja's own pit at Horaketiya, Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, and cut in Sri Lanka.
Bellerophon Gemlab, Paris, has identified it as a natural alexandrite of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) provenance, colour-change yellowish green to brownish pink, report no. C02074, dated 19 June 2026. The report, with a 360° video, can be verified at bellerophongemlab.com. The report notes that it may be called "Vibrant" due to its ideal cutting proportions.
Rose gold or yellow gold would suit it, as both read well against either colour state. Available to view in Colombo by appointment. Further images and video on request via WhatsApp.
