A natural Ceylon spinel of 2.40 ct in a cushion cut, with a saturated lavender blue colour.

Small crystal inclusions are scattered through the stone and are visible on close inspection; they do not dull the colour. This stone has not yet been examined by a gemmological laboratory, so its treatment status is not confirmed; spinel is rarely treated. An independent report can be arranged before purchase.

Mined at Téja's own pit at Horaketiya, Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, and cut in Sri Lanka.
