A rare photochromic sapphire that shifts between yellow and intense yellow depending on light exposure — a reversible colour-change effect seen in only a small fraction of natural sapphires. This 1.22 carat Ceylon stone is fully transparent with even colour distribution and strong fluorescence, faceted as a pear to showcase its brilliance. Untreated, with no indications of any treatment, and formed roughly 550 million years ago in the gem gravels of Sri Lanka.
