A natural sapphire from Ilakaka, Madagascar, in vivid pink. The 3.006 ct oval is evenly coloured and transparent, with stable colour, and its strong fluorescence lifts the pink in daylight.
This stone has been heated. Bellerophon Gemlab records indications of heating and notes no other treatment. Heating is the long-established, permanent treatment used on most sapphire; we state it plainly so that the price reflects it.
Part of the Téja World Stones collection: gems from outside Sri Lanka, chosen for colour and documented with the same care as our Ceylon stones.
Bellerophon Gemlab, Paris, has identified it as a natural sapphire of Madagascar (Ilakaka) provenance in vivid pink, with indications of heating, report no. C02957, dated 8 October 2026. The report, with a 360° video, can be verified at bellerophongemlab.com.
